My car has 80,000 km but feels like it has 150,000 km (5 อ่าน)

I run a small stall in one of Sharjah's busy markets, so my car is in and out of that area constantly. Short trips to the warehouse, stopping to load goods, idling in traffic around the market. My car only has about 80,000 kilometers on it but it feels completely worn out. The suspension is loose, the brakes feel soft, and the engine just doesn't run as smoothly as it should. A mechanic who knows the area well explained to me why vehicles need more attention in busy regions like markets and industrial zones. He shared an article that broke down how constant stop-start driving prevents engines from fully warming up, which leads to oil contamination and sludge buildup. It also explained that all the braking in congested areas wears pads down much faster, and the dusty environment clogs air filters prematurely. Now I understand it's not just about mileage, it's about the conditions. Anyone else here drive mainly in busy commercial areas and notice their car aging faster than the numbers suggest?
