I’m currently considering doing a Fellowship in Obs & Gynae after MBBS, but I’m a bit confused about whether it’s really worth the time and money.

In clinical practice, I do come across a lot of women’s health cases, and I feel the need to improve my practical knowledge. But at the same time, I’m unsure if a fellowship actually adds real value or just becomes another certificate.



I’m not planning to go for MD/MS immediately, so I’m looking for something that can help me build clinical confidence and improve patient management skills without taking a long career break.



My Concerns:

Does this fellowship actually help in real clinical practice?

Is it worth investing money in terms of career growth?

Will it help in getting better opportunities in clinics or hospitals?

Or is it better to wait and prepare for PG (MD/MS) instead?



I would really appreciate honest opinions from doctors who have done this fellowship or have seen its impact in real practice.
