Aion 2 Handicrafting Guide: Master the Crafting System (12 อ่าน)

28 เม.ย 2569 16:13

Crafting in Aion 2 is an essential part of character progression, offering players a way to create powerful PvE gear through the game's unique "Chain Crafting" system. As a Handicrafter, you can specialize in making accessories and specialized weapons like bows, which can significantly improve your character's combat effectiveness. In this guide, we'll break down everything you need to know to master Handicrafting, from the basics of the system to tips for maximizing your crafting efficiency.

Core Crafting Mechanics

Chain Crafting Progression

In Aion 2, crafting is based on a tiered system where each level of gear is categorized by color, from Common to Uncommon, Rare, and finally Unique/Yellow. To craft high-tier items, you need to progress through these levels, with lower-tier materials used to craft higher-tier items.

Common items serve as the base materials for Uncommon items.

Uncommon items can be used for Rare or Unique gear.

Every time you craft, you may receive a random result: the item can either be a base version or a higher-tier version if it "procs."

The "Proc" System

The "proc" system is a mechanic that adds an element of randomness to crafting. When crafting an item, there’s about a 25% chance that the item will "proc" and turn out as a higher-tier version (e.g., Rare instead of Uncommon). If it doesn't proc, you’ll receive the base-tier version, but don't worry! Even these "failed" crafts have value—they can be used as materials for further crafting attempts or exchanged for rewards.

Success and Failure Bars

When you initiate a craft, you’ll notice two progress bars racing against each other: Success and Failure. The outcome of the craft is determined by these bars. Several factors affect how these bars fill up:

Your crafting skill: Higher skill levels increase the chance of success.

"Lady Luck" stat: Certain items or bonuses can raise your chances of success, allowing for better outcomes.

Manual vs. Automatic Crafting

You can craft items at dedicated crafting tables located in major cities for greater efficiency, or you can craft on-the-go directly from your player menu while traveling through the world. While crafting in the field is convenient, crafting at crafting tables typically gives a higher success rate and more crafting options.

Handicrafting Specialization

Handicrafting is focused on creating essential PvE gear, specifically accessories and specialized weapons. As a Handicrafter, you'll specialize in the production of powerful weapons like bows and staves, as well as important accessories that provide vital stats for combat.

Primary Products

The core products of Handicrafting are:

Bows: Essential for ranged damage dealers.

Staves: Ideal for mages or support characters.

Accessories: Rings, necklaces, and other items that provide buffs and passive bonuses.

Materials

As a Handicrafter, your primary materials will come from wood (logs) and gems that you gather through gathering skills. These materials will be in high demand, so it’s crucial to gather them regularly during your travels.

Mastery Rewards

To unlock the best crafting recipes, including rare weapons and mounts like the Aetherbike, you’ll need to reach Master level in Handicrafting. This requires a 500 skill level, but the rewards are well worth the grind, as you’ll gain access to unique and powerful items.

Maximizing Efficiency & Value

Crafting is more than just making items—it’s about crafting smart. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your crafting efforts.

Utilize "Failed" Crafts

Don’t waste time or materials on "failed" crafts. If an item doesn’t proc to the next tier, don’t discard it. Instead, you can use these "failed" items for:

Weekly Supply Requests: These requests reward you with valuable Abyss Points, which you can spend on PvP gear and cosmetics.

Season Crafting Turn-ins: Turn in your "failed" items for extra rewards during seasonal events.

This way, even your failures contribute to your progression.

Level via Work Orders

The most cost-effective way to level up your Handicrafting skill is by completing Work Orders from Handicrafting Masters. You can find these masters in Pandaemonium (for Elyos) and Sanctum (for Asmodians). They will provide you with the materials you need to complete crafting requests, which helps level up your skill without having to buy expensive materials from the market.

Gather During Travel

A lot of the materials you need for crafting (like logs and ores) are available as you travel through the world. Instead of buying these materials at high prices from vendors, take the time to gather them while completing quests or exploring. This will save you a lot of Kinah and keep your crafting cost-efficient.

Check Weekly Turn-ins First

Before mass-producing any craftable items, always check the Weekly Supply Request menu. Crafting items that are in demand for the week will ensure that even your failures have high value. This can significantly boost your Abyss Points and keep your crafting efforts aligned with ongoing rewards.

Handicrafting in Aion 2 is a rewarding system that allows you to create powerful items for your character. By understanding the Chain Crafting progression, mastering the Proc system, and using failed crafts effectively, you’ll be able to craft efficiently and profitably. Whether you’re crafting for personal gear or helping your faction with Supply Requests, becoming a master Handicrafter can give you a significant edge in the game.
