I'm coming up on the 100k km service for my 2017 X5 and the dealership quote is honestly depressing, but I'm also terrified of taking it to some random garage that'll use cheap filters or the wrong spec oil. I want a place that uses genuine BMW parts and follows the proper service schedule, basically an Abu Dhabi Genuine BMW Service Center without the fancy showroom markup. Does such a thing actually exist here, or am I dreaming? I don't mind paying for quality, I just don't want to pay for marble floors and free cappuccinos. If anyone has found an independent specialist that treats your car like their own, please share because I'm losing sleep over this service. Also curious if they stamp the service book in a way that doesn't hurt resale value later.
