This is a weird one. On my 2014 Land Cruiser, I can engage the rear and front diff locks just fine, and low range works, but regular 4 high doesn't engage at all. The light just flashes on the dash and never goes solid. No strange noises, just nothing happens. I've checked the fuses and the transfer case fluid level which seemed okay. I'm trying to find a verified 4WD transfer case fix Dubai because I suspect something internal like the shift fork or the engagement motor is failing. I saw Dynostar's transfer case page and they mention both electronic and mechanical repairs which is good because I'm not sure which system my car has. Has anyone here had a similar issue where only certain drive modes work and others don't? Was it an expensive fix or something simple like a position sensor? Really don't want to replace the whole transfer case if it's just a $50 part. Also planning a desert trip next month so need to sort this soon. Thanks.
