Shipping my Hayabusa soon. The guide says to check tire pressure and remove loose parts, but do I really need to drain the fuel? Looking for tips from anyone who’s shipped high-end sportbikes.

For high-end sportbikes like a Hayabusa, you generally do not need to drain the fuel completely; however, most carriers require the tank to be at 1/4 capacity or less for safety and weight reasons. Ensure your steering is unlocked and the alarm system is disabled to prevent battery drain during transit. Removing loose accessories like aftermarket mirrors or GPS mounts is highly recommended to prevent vibration damage. Using a specializedmotorcycle transport service ensures your bike is secured with soft-tie straps that won't scratch the fairings, providing the specialized care a heavy, high-performance machine requires during a long-distance haul.
