Steps to Fix MLB The Show 26 Co-Op 3v3 Stuck on Loading Screen (7 อ่าน)

There is nothing more frustrating than gathering your squad for some casual or ranked3v3 Co-Op in MLB The Show 26, only to find yourselves staring at a frozen loading screen or stuck in an infinite matchmaking loop. If you have been hitting a brick wall right before the stadium or lineup screen loads, you are definitely not alone. This is usually caused by a server synchronization bug that trips over specific roster configurations or network hiccups.
Fortunately, the community has found a few reliable ways to bypass these server handshaking errors. Follow this step-by-step troubleshooting guide to get your team past the loading screens and back onto the diamond.
1. Clean Up Your Diamond Dynasty Lineup
Believe it or not, invalid squad configurations are the single most common culprit behind loading screen crashes. Before you blame your internet connection, check your actual Diamond Dynasty active roster.
Remove Supercharged Players: Active Supercharged hitters or pitchers are currently notorious for triggering instant session crashes during the transition into Co-Op lobbies. Swap them out for standard versions of those players before you attempt to queue up.
Eliminate Duplicates: Double-check your active squad line-by-line. Make sure no player is accidentally duplicated between your starting nine and your bench or bullpen positions. If there is any overlap, the game will completely lose track of who goes where and freeze up during the loading sequence.
2. Adjust Your Lobby and Matchmaking Habits
Sometimes, the lobby itself gets desynced, and trying to force a connection will only leave you hanging on a black screen indefinitely. Adjusting how you find matches can help avoid these bad server handshakes.
Migrate the Host: If you keep freezing with the same party leader, disband the group completely. Have a teammate who is on a completely different console or a different network recreate the lobby from scratch and send out the invites.
Watch the Search Timer: Keep an eye on the matchmaking pool timer when you search for a game. If the timer passes the two-minute mark, cancel the search manually. Letting the game force a long queue frequently triggers a hard lobby freeze that requires an app restart.
Disable Cross-Play: If you and your friends happen to be playing on the same console family (for example, all on PlayStation or all on Xbox), head into your settings and turn off cross-play. This drastically minimizes the number of server handshakes required to build the session.
3. Clear Your Console Cache and Corrupt Save Data
Lingering data in your system memory or temporary storage can easily lock you out of the Diamond Dynasty servers. Giving your console a clean slate often resolves persistent loading hangs.
Force Quit the App: Do not waste your time waiting out a frozen loading screen. If it hangs for more than a minute, hard-close the game entirely from your console dashboard and relaunch it.
Clear Reserved Space (Xbox): Navigate to My Games & Apps, highlight MLB The Show 26, press the Menu button, and go to Manage Game and Add-ons. Select Saved Data, find the Reserved Space, and clear it.
Clear Persistent Storage (Xbox): Go to your main console Settings, select Devices & Connections, click on Blu-ray, choose Persistent Storage, and clear it out to flush out old temporary files.
4. Refresh Your Console Network Settings
A desynced IP address or cached network identifier can prevent your console from properly communicating with the San Diego Studio servers.
Clear Alternate MAC Address: Go to your console's advanced network settings, select Alternate MAC Address, and choose Clear. Allow your console to automatically restart. This forces your hardware to re-authenticate its connection properly.
The Menu Bypass Trick: If you find that the main menu itself is lagging or freezing before you even invite your friends, try this workaround: disconnect your console from the internet entirely, launch the game to bypass the network sync freeze, and then reconnect your internet once you are safely sitting on the main menu.
By systematically auditing your squad, managing your matchmaking times, and keeping your cache clean, you can significantly reduce the chances of hitting that dreaded infinite loading screen.
