Fildena, which contains sildenafil citrate, is typically used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) by improving blood flow to the penis. While it’s highly effective, it's important to use it responsibly to avoid side effects and get the best results. Most healthcare providers recommend taking Fildena 150 only once daily, regardless of the dose (25mg, 50mg, 100mg, or 150mg). Taking it more than once within 24 hours can increase the risk of side effects such as headaches, dizziness, vision problems, flushing, or even more serious complications like priapism (a prolonged erection). Fildena should be taken about 30 to 60 minutes before sexual activity, but its effects can last up to 4–6 hours. However, sexual stimulation is still required for it to work—it won’t cause an erection on its own.
